Vikend jogijski intenziv v Ljubljani, ki ga ne smete zamuditi!

stephen-ewashkiwPonovno bo z nami mednarodno priznani učitelj joge Stephen Ewashkiw. Od petka do nedelje nas bo v celostno prakso joge popeljal z bogato razlago in mentorskim pristopom. Stephen Ewashkiw s seboj prinaša bogato znanje joge in poznavanje jogijske filozofije, je učenec priznanih učiteljev joge iz ZDA. Podrobnosti o programu so spodaj. Opis delavnice:

Petek zvečer: Uvodno srečanje

Dve uri trajajoča praksa se bo začela s kratkim Stephenovim nagovorom, ki bo uvedel mantre, dihalne tehnike- pranajame in 75 minutno prakso asan. Zaključili bomo z meditacijo. Praksa asan bo ponudila prilagoditve za vse težavnostne stopnje. Naredi toliko, kot zmoreš in izpusti tisto, kar ne moreš. Dobrodošli vsi!

Kolki, predkloni, blagi zasuki

Sobota dopoldne : Kroženje in odpiranje

Naš svet se vrti z neverjetno hitrostjo, to je dejstvo, ki me vsakič znova spravi iz tira. Skozi niz zasukov se bomo vrteli okrog svojega lastnega sonca, srca. Zasuki so odlična priprava hrbtenice na zaklone, tako, da lahko pričakujete zaključek prakse z nekaj zakloni. Tokrat praksa zahteva nekaj predhodnega znanja. Sobota popoldne: Inverzija-konverzija

Brez skrbi, celotno prakso ne boste obrnjeni na glavo! V tej delavnici se bomo posvetili tistim predelom telesa, ki so ključnega pomena pri inverznih položajih. Predvidevam, da vas bo pri tem marsikaj presenetilo. Pridite pripravljeni na trdo delo in zahtevno igro in pustite, da se vam svet obrne na glavo. Za popolne začetnike velja enako navodilo kot za dopoldansko delavnico: predhodno se posvetujte s Stephenom.

Nedelja dopoldne- PRAKSA

Tri ure asan bodo združile delo predhodnih delavnic v strnjeni, zahtevni praksi; poigrali se bomo z asanami, ki običajno niso zelo pogoste v tečajih. Delali bomo v skupinah, v parih, se pogovarjali, analizirali, osvetlili anatomske vidike in si delili mnenja. Niste prepričani, da je to za vas? Če razmišljate, da bi prišli, ste, po moje, pripravljeni. Če me želite vprašati karkoli, mi pišite!

Nedelja popoldne: Razmislek in obnovitev

Nedeljsko popoldne bo ponudilo priložnost procesiranja dela čez vikend, s časom za meditacijo in kontemplacijo. Obnovitvena praksa asan omogoča telesu in umu čas za predelavo občutij. Praksa je odprta vsem in primerna za vse stopnje; udeležba na predhodnih delavnicah ni pogoj.

O učitelju. Stephen Ewashkiw: 

Kot profesionalni učitelj joge sem delal v Los Angelesu v Urth Yoga v Silver Lake in v Mission Street Yoga v Južni Pasadeni, preden sva se z ženo Jane marca 2013 odpravila s kolesi po svetu. Spotoma sva poučevala jogo, spoznavala ljudi, sklepala nova prijateljstva in spoznavala več o sebi in svetu. V 15- mesečnem potovanju sva prekolesarila 22 držav in več kot 15 000 km. Od avgusta 2014 spet redno vodim delavnice, ki jih prirejam v Aziji, Evropi in Severni Ameriki ter Kanadi.

Class descriptions:

Friday evening – Intro to Stephen
A practice-centred 2-hour class that will begin with a short talk from Stephen leading into mantra practice, breath work (pranamyama), and 75 minutes of asana. We will end with meditation. The asana class will offer options for all levels of practice. Do what you can do, don’t do what you can’t do. All welcome.

Hips, forward fold, gentle twists

Saturday morning – Revolve, Evolve
The world is spinning at a spectacular rate, a fact that continually blows my mind. In this class we will revolve around our own sun, our heart, through a series of twists. Twists are a great way to prepare your spine for backbends, so expect to end with some backbending work.
We recommend that you have tried yoga a couple of times. If you’re brand new to yoga and want to come, please email Stephen at yoga@blaim.me so we can discuss.

Saturday afternoon – Inversion Conversion (aka Core, Blimey)
Don’t worry, you won’t be upside down the entire class. In this workshop we will break down some of the key areas of the body you need to focus on for inversions. You may be surprised by some of the work we focus on in this class. Come prepared to work hard, play hard, and have your world turned upside down.
We recommend that you have tried yoga a couple of times. If you’re brand new to yoga and want to come, please email Stephen at yoga@blaim.me so we can discuss.

Sunday morning – The Practice
A 3-hour asana class that will bring together the work from the weekend in a focused, challenging class, playing with some poses we don’t usually get to in public classes. This work may include group conversation, journaling, anatomy discussion, partner work, and demos.

​Sunday afternoon – Reflect & Restore
Sunday afternoon will give you time to process the work from the weekend, with time for meditation and contemplation, along with a restorative asana practice giving your body and mind time to digest how you feel. This class is open to everyone, and appropriate for all levels. You do not have to attend the other workshops to come to this class.

About Stephen Ewashkiw

I was a full-time teacher in Los Angeles at Urth Yoga in Silver Lake and Mission Street Yoga in South Pasadena before my wife, Jane, and I left LA in March 2013 to ride our bicycles through the world. Along the way I have been teaching yoga, meeting new people, making new friends and learning more about myself, and the world. We are in the final months of what became a 15-month bicycle trip that has taken us to 22 countries, covering more than 15,000 km.

From August 2014 I will be back to my regular workshop schedule, teaching in Asia, Europe, Scandinavia, and North America. Apart from Los Angeles, I have taught yoga in Canada, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, China, Thailand, and Malaysia.
